Ideal ride height for best suspension geometry?

Hi, I recently bought a set of coilovers and I am very confused on how to setup my ride height for proper performance at the track and for autocross. Right now I am at -1.5" front and -1.75" rear, and I feel that is way too low since at this height the rear lca is pointing up and that the camber can only go to -2.0 max even with adjustable lca. For Next season I am looking to raise the ride height to get -1.5 rear camber since i dont seem to be using all the Tire at the rear when i went for a track day.

do you guys have any advice in what is the perfect ride height to achieve good suspension geo??

Stock height is ideal for geometry.

How much does the actual geometry matter? Well.... we don't run any correction.

I can't imagine the contrary to this would readily be found.

Diminishing ROI, and we don't really have the money to dedicate to experimenting with geometry...

but it costs nothing to just raise to OEM using existing coilovers..

Except we'd lose all droop travel... and our coilovers aren't capable of going that high to begin with :confused0068:

There are a lot of trade-offs.

You're making a compromise with suspension geometry, travel, and center of gravity.

In some cases (CSG for example) running pretty low with less than ideal geometry but a really low center of gravity works well since they are running fairly high spring rates and a good amount of camber. And I suppose they don't need to clear driveways and all that.

With softer rates, a higher ride height might be more advantageous.
