Turbo and Exhausts
 

When a turbo kit is installed how much of the sound does the turbo take away from the exhaust? Currently I am running UEL headers catless fp overpipe and Invidia catback and the sound is perfect for a NA setup however by adding the turbo by fa20club (has UEL headers) will this really quiet the system? Anyone running tubo + catless and muffler delete? I still have by berk muffler delete so I'm thinking about throwing that on when the turbo is installed but I'd like to hear from other members what their running.

We put a full 3" turbo back exhuat system with just a resonator and high flow cat on Fabrons car and it is loud. It does have a lager exhaust housing and exhaust wheel then what you are probably using. But expect it to be noisy. Once the test of the parts for ampted's turbo kit show up I can possibly answer that better as he is getting a full 3" turbo back with only a high flow cat and single exit.
