Crystal eye on black BRZ
 

Hey everyone, picking up my BRZ next week :D and after hours of comparing all the taillights, style, quality and availability wise, I finally made the decision to go with the crystal eyes.

But now I have three to choose from, clear red, smoked black or chrome. :iono:

I've seen a picture of the chrome and smoked one on a black frs. But I'm not liking the red standing out in the chrome one and I think the smoked one looks kinda good but not sure if its too dark.

So I thought I'd ask for some pictures and ultimately suggestions from everyone =] Since it's so hard to make out what they'll really look like in person...:thanks:

I have red crystal eyes on asphalt. IMO Red looks great on darker colors. Check out my build thread for photos.

The smoked ones arent as dark as most "Tinted" tail variants. I have them and they are a light tint. I like the way they look against the black, as they aren't too dark. Can take a few angle shots outside for you if you want tomorrow.

That would be awesome, since I'm kinda leaning towards to smoked ones.

I must say they look great on your car. I think I'll make my choice after Pscylo kindly uploads some pics on the smoked ones.

That looks great! The red crystal eyes look like the lights that should have come with the car stock...

PLease post some pics of the smoked on the black BRZ. I have the raven FRS and am 99.9% sold on the smoked crystal eyes. would love to see them on a fellow black vehicle. Thanks in advance.

And in the garage, early morning with shit for ambient light, makes them look darker than they are....the picture linked above is the most accurate representation of how light the tint is.

Smoked reminds me of the terminator

Lighting most likely plays a huge role but I'm really not a fan of the red reflectors standing out, and I thought the smoked ones would make them less obvious. From what you can see, are they very obvious or just in direct sunlight?

Honestly, never noticed the red reflector...I know its there cause I checked for it after I opened the box because of the laws requiring it...but when I look at my car, I haven't ever been like....that red reflector....and the car, as you can see, is raven with mostly darkened accents....eventually all darkened. Gotta look through pics from this weekend, might have a side shot somewhere.
