Recommended tire mount & balance shop in NNJ?

Hi guys,

I am currently trying to find a shop that has decent equipment to mount and balance my winter tires on my stock wheels.

I just stopped by this shop within the Shell gas station this morning and was quite surprised that they would charge $45 per tire for the "sophiscated, high profile tires." so I just walked right out.

$45 per tire sound a bit too expensive because I was rather thinking about ~$100 max and was expecting something like $80..

Do you guys have any recommendations for shops located in north new jersey?

Or you guys can PM me with your best price. :)

Thanks in advance.

Drive safe with snow tires guys!

Check on tire rack website, you can find local shops. I guess it is too late but they can deliver to the sop and you just show up and they mount and balance for you.

I found a local shop on there that does road force mount and balance $20 per.

Good luck.

You can still view the shops that mount and balance on tirerack even if you don't buy tires.

Right.

This 1 shop quoted me for $45 per tire this morning.. my Subaru dealer gets the job done for $84+tax so I think I'll just stop by the dealer..

Thanks though! :)

Just go to a run of the mill Midas, they charged me $25 a tire and they are pretty use to mounting tires all day (60% of their work...).

If you can find someone local then it's even better, i was charged $60 at another place but the guys a bit of a douche so i stopped going there.

I would go to Slidewayz (https://www.facebook.com/slidewayzmo...f=ts&ref=br_tf) I trusted them with my CCW's and they did an awesome job stretching my tires. I know for a fact they can get you tires on, they even told me they stretched 205 winter tires on a 10" wheel or around that. For me it was $90 for all four of my tires.
