Brake pad material

Has anyone found a better daily pad for stopping power and threshold brake modulation?

Stoptech pads are a great street pad.

Why do you need threshold brake modulation for a daily pad? You're looking for a race quality. What is your goal with your pad choice?

Stoptech PosiQuiet Ceramic are great pads. I have them on My Highlander, Ferrari and at some point my FR-S. They don't leave any unsightly brake dust and they have great brake power with minimal fade.

I've been running the Winmax W3 pads https://www.winmaxusa.com/Articles.asp?ID=251 for the last few weeks. Daily driving the modulation is good and the noise is minimal compared to the Hawk HP Plus ones. Also, MUCH less dust. In the autocross event I did last weekend, they felt great. Firm and positive response.

Bob- would you put these on a 85% daily driver 14% autoX 1%HPDE car?

I don't mind swapping pads for a track day, but if they are good for the other 99% ill take them

Yes. Right now I do 80+ miles/day DD, and 1-2 2-day AutoX events per month. The pads feel great so far. I can't comment on long term use at this point.
