Perrin Exhaust
I've attempted to search but didn't find anything. I'm pretty sure I know the answer but just wanted some feedback from everyone else. Just installed my Perrin 2.5" resonated catback (love it!) but it seems that the left side pokes out a tad bit more than the left....I've heard of a way to adjust the exhaust before for alignment with the bumper but not for the poke.
Anywho it's not a big big deal. Just I like having things perfect when it comes to cars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I've got the exhaust with perfect alignment.
Loosen the vband clamps and start rotating the pipe that connects to the muffler to the resonator pipe. |

You can adjust my loosening the 2 v-band clamps and rotating the S-pipe around. You can also adjust the rubber hangers a bit. I was able to get mine very close to even. I think one sticks out about 1/4" more than the other, but unless you're staring down at them from the top, you don't notice it so I left it alone.

Yep, you'll want to loosten the V band on the muffler, and the V band on the other side of the S pipe. When you rotate it, it will change the angle of the muffler to the rear bumper, so it should take care of it. When you tighten the v bands back up, just make sure to either have someone hold the muffler in place or try holding it when you're tightening the V bands.
