Rumor: Toyota to have all-RWD lineup in the future
http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/toy...nly-1459992588
According to this, Toyota is thinking of ditching all their FWD cars and replacing them with RWD equivalents. The Corolla will use a GT86 platform and the Camry will use a modified Lexus GS platform. Additionally, they will all have manual transmission options and a full range of TRD parts covered under warranty. This is to appeal to the younger crowd while also creating cars which handle and drive better. It sounds like a total pipe dream, but we may be entering a golden age of Toyotas. jk |
