Look what my buddy found today!!!! They're arrived!!!!!!!!

Dimman 04-19-2012 02:14 AM

Whereabouts?

Shimmyshake 04-19-2012 02:15 AM

Not to sure I never asked him...he's a UPS driver

Capt Canuck 04-19-2012 02:16 AM

Wow! At least 6. Is that at Toyota's Richmond Automall pen?

Shimmyshake 04-19-2012 02:19 AM

I'm assuming maybe it's Richmond by the movie theatres or on annacis island where all the other cars are

Dimman 04-19-2012 02:21 AM

Toyota's got a bunch of different shipping lots. I'm going by the one on Cambie tomorrow and will keep an eye out.

Sport-Tech 04-19-2012 02:24 AM

Nice to see.

Those cars don't look too protected - nothing on the doors, even bump guards are missing. Also the shipping spacers for the springs look like they are out - in fact the wheel gaps are looking damn good here, almost dropped.

These are unlikely to be customer cars - they are almost certainly the demonstrators that dealers have indicated they will be receiving in the next 2 weeks.

Shimmyshake 04-19-2012 02:28 AM

Ya most likely the show room test drive ones...but atleast we know they're coming in...

That little bit of white plastic is pretty standard on the incoming/outgoing cars.

If you are referring to the sheeting, I was aware of that. Other makers sometimes put it on the doors as well, and put plastic edge protectors on the door edges, neither of which show up here.

Ya I forget I haven't lived in BC for a while now, I was thinking of a place off SW Marine/Granville but that was yonks ago.

Annacis Island is pretty much just tarmac and there are lots trees, bit of elevation there. Great post though, nonetheless... not quite CSIS but not bad ;-)
