ECU table functions and definition of tables
Would be great if we had definitions for the various tables and also what they do. I am still not clear on a lot of functions of this ecu, for example when it come to DI Fueling, there are three maps (Base,Normal, and Safe) what do these mean? I noticed that the data logged values are interpolated between the normal and safe tables. Another I am not sure about is in the speed limiter tables (Speed UNK) which is set at 240km/h. Something else that has me confused is the carious A,B,C,D etc tables and what causes a switch between them.

Romraider is great yet there still isn't much explained in terms of table function and in some cases even the axis are yet to be defined. What would be great is if we have a table by table post with explanation of function. The Bad Noodle guide is great (read it a long time ago) but falls short on a lot of BRZ specific tables.

I'm supposed to be working on porting the RR def over to ecuflash but have not had time. Most of the tables should not be hard to figure out but in some cases, like when it uses what timing map... if you search around that is still not fully understood on most 32bit subaru ecu's, etc. |
Okay lets take one in particular that I am curious about. Its the VVT angle Base, Safe, Normal tables. What do you guys know about those and when they are used.

I heard the two cam tables types depends on iam value... I've not verified that yet, but that's the EcuTek description.
