Another Buttonwillow video, 2:05.9 lap with Hankook RS3's

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on the boards here, but thought I'd share my latest video from this past Sunday's (11/10/13) Raceline USA track event at Buttonwillow 13CW configuration. They had the 86 Challenge going on, and I took home 1st place for the day's event, and 2nd overall in points in this years series. I missed 3 of their events though, oops! Robispec took 1st overall in points for the season, so congrats to Robispec! The video is mostly comedy themed, hah. I think I can still squeeze out some more time by improving on some sections like Sunrise, Sunset, and dialing in the suspension a little better so the car isn't so nervous through Riverside into Phil Hill. I have basic bolt ons, like Buddy Club Racing Spec Damper Coilovers, Enkei RPF1 17x9 +35, Hankook RS3 245/40 tires, Project Mu HC+800 pads, Motul RBF600 fluid, DIY Oil Cooler set up, Cusco rear camber lateral arms, TRD drop-in filter, and front and rear adjustable sway bar end links.

Lots of BW videos/pics coming up lately... I love it.

I need to watch this when I get home (can't youtube at work... no speakers on my workstation anyways).

Cool video. Damn they need to repave that track. I like how you lean into the turn as if you're riding a moto. :bellyroll:

Few people realize how bumpy that track is.

It is very bumpy! It's getting worse every year too :(

Maybe it'll become their rally track.

The more they attempt to repave it, the faster the track gets, but this track allows us to test suspension kits to the max.

That's why I stopped going there. Turn 2, Bus Stop-Truck Stop was in really bad shape.

Scary for bikers man. Cars are fine. As long as your suspension system is good and setup right, you won't have any problems going fast.

good times out there yesterday. What's your alignment and how many clicks did you run on the RSD?

Thanks! I'm running about 3 clicks out from full stiff on both front and rear. My alignment is zero toe front and rear, -2.5 deg camber in front and about -1.8 rear.

Nice lap! I mounted my camera (ReplayXD) to the inside rear window with a suction cup mount. What camera are you using? I had the same issue with my camera that you have with the washing out/too bright of a view past the windshield, but it was all just settings that I had to adjust on the camera itself. I set the camera in the software to focus the brightness on the center of the image, and now it looks much better.

What mods do you have to your car btw?
