Any Southeast Toyota/Scion 1st86ers heard anything?

Anyone from the Southeast Toyota region (NC/SC/AL/GA/FL) heard anything from their dealer about delivery dates? My dealer seems clueless so I thought maybe someone had heard something. Since the delivery is regional and ours all come in the same port, I thought we might share info if we had any.

nothing here. I am keeping and eye on google maps at the Jacksonville port as you can see the cars at the lot.

Didn't think of Google Maps. I did a search for webcams and couldn't find any that show the lots.

Not a bit of news here in TN... Not really surprised though. Looks like someone in Canada snapped pics of FR-S sitting near the docks from being unloaded. If that's the case at least we know the car freighter is making its way along the west coast unloading.

Yea, saw that. I WANT MY CAR!

Plus, I'm without a DD right now since I had to pull the plug on my Astro. Being down a car in the family fleet is putting a lot of pressure on me to get a replacement!

2nd week of May!

My dealer just called and said the units just popped up on their screen for 2nd week in May. They are getting two, but he didn't know if the second one was a demo or a customer order.

He didn't know what their allocation or info on accessories yet. I figure we'll see that next week when they go live on the Scion site on 4/24.

Also verified I'd be paying MSRP+tax+tags+title+doc fee. The doc fee ($599) is outrageous in my opinion for a MSRP car, but I'll worry about that when I negotiate accessories.

SWEET! Good luck Dadhawk! :party0030: I thought about private selling my car now so that I could get more for it but I don't want to put my family in a bind with cars... Now if only Subaru could provide me that similiar information that would be AWESOME. :happy0180:

Thanks! I'm in that exact bind you mention right now because my DD decommissioned itself last week.

We'll definitely have to figure out a meeting place for the N. GA/TN owners once we all get our rides!

Well my dealer didnt have the info so i contacted the Regional Manager. Ms. Karen explained to me that my dealership will not be able to see the VIN and arrival info until Friday. She said they will be shipping out from Jacksonville this Friday. She then went on and told me that one of the First 86 vehicles was damaged in transit and were waiting for another to come in to replace that one. That's why East coast is a bit delayed.

Congrats, I figured Headquarter Toyota would be on top of things, unfortunately I had to make some calls to the regional office to get my VIN.
