Where to order trans/diff gaskets?

Can't find them on any subaru websites. Looking at this scion site http://www.villagescionparts.com/

They want $15 to ship a couple washers? I guess it is flat rate or something but wtf

Can anyone show me a better place to buy?

Have you tried going to your dealership? They usually have a parts store. Mine offers a discount if I've gotten service from them.

I went to my subaru local dealer and they didn't even know what the gear oil was. When I told him it's 75w90 he was like "OOOOHHH we only carry that in bulk for dealer service" Then he was more interested in what the specified change interval was than getting me some. After that didn't even bother to ask for the gaskets.

I didn't want to go to dealer in the first place as I suspected as much and I prefer online ordering stuff so I don't have to deal with nonsense...

My dealer had to special order them in. When I heard the outrageous price, I passed then cleaned, flipped and re-used the original gaskets that worked with no leaks.

Agreed. I'd give them a call instead though.
