invidia N1 knock off
 

soo i was searching around on Ebay and came across what looked exactly like the N1. but the price for it was about $380. So i looked into the sellers profile and it says that they basically took the N1 and modified it to get rid of some "unnecessary bends" that the N1 had... not to sure how I feel about this product... anyone have any thoughts?....

Its just an exhaust so go for it. I laugh at people when i see them buy exhaust for close to 1k. I had a $300 ebay exhaust on my evo 8 that never rusted in the 3 years it was on and it fit perfect.

you got a point lol... i think i'll give it a shot what do i got to lose?.. lol i got my HIDs from ebay and its been a month with no problems

there are great deals to be had on ebay... it's just spotty as far as quality. most of the <$400 options use smaller diameter pipe as well (60mm i believe). if you don't plan on going fi in the future i'd try it out. worst that can happen is you sell it for a bit less than you paid and buy a better one next time.

I agree. I always had knock offs on all of my 240's. I was thinking the same for my Evo X but decided to go with the Tomei Ti. Well worth the money though.

There are mods you can afford to take the risk on and cheap out on. Exhaust is one of them (headers are a different story).

This was my exhaust brand new, looked like any other expensive exhaust and sounded really nice. It was a straight turbo back, the fart can and the res further are fake and only there to pass visual inspection.

yeah, those are all 2.25" piping. no good.
