AT Steering Wheel Swap

Not sure where to post this so figured here might be good?

Disclaimer: I'm aware this might be an extremely stupid idea, so flamers stay away.

I was wondering if anyone has tried throwing an aftermarket steering wheel + quick release hub on an auto twin. Not entirely sure what that would entail, if it's even possible. I'm not sure I would necessarily want to do the swap anyways, if it means losing the paddles, but the thought just came to me so I started wondering about it.

Why is this stupid? You can still use the manual mode via the shifter.

Oh I guess I should've said if you wanted to maintain functionality of paddles. I'm guessing an aftermarket paddle swap might be out of the question.

I was thinking the same. Personally, I hardly use the paddle shifters so it wouldn't be a loss for me. It would be interesting to see if any companies make a steering wheel to fit the paddle shifters but I highly doubt it.

I try to use the paddles as much as possible personally... I feel like I might break the stick shifter. :D

I know how you feel. I gave up on the stick because I kept trying to move it in an "H" pattern.
