help what tires should i run
ok guys so heres the deal im getting some wheels for free they are 17x9 in the front and 17x10 in the rear only problem the wheels r 5x114 so i will need to run a spacer. so heres the problem i was wondering what tires i would need to run currently for the rears i was thinking 225/50/17 since it will stretch but i was wondering it i would clear. also to note i am stock height but will be lowering the car on either eibach pro sport kit or h and r race springs please any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

50 sidewall is disgusting. Monster truck status.
If you want a stretch, I would do 215/45 up front and 235/40 rear. You could do a 225/45 up front but that's tall. That's about the same as a 255/40 which is a lot of meat and your front sidewalls would be noticeably larger than the rears. If you want something with a little less stretch, you could do something like a 235/40 up front and a 245 or 255/40 in the rear. |
well the only reason why i bought a 50 was because i wanted it to stretch but have a little more meat than usual i guess ill try to find a shorter profile

What offset are the wheels you want? Also, you will need camber bolts and possibly coilovers. And may need other suspension parts to get a 10 with a spacer to fit.
The hub conversion may be cheaper than the other parts put together. Something to look into. My $0.02 |
Hey just to answer some questions u asked the wheels r really high offset they were meant for an nsx fitment in the 90s when wheels were made for the correct fitment haha but yea I am going tobbuy coilovers eventually just for now Im looking at springs
