Which mod to install first .... ??
2 Attachment(s)
Well, folks, Santa arrived early and brought me two gifts....:D
Which one should I install first and why? Neither the old toilet nor the old muffler are leaking. Any hints on installing the new muffler, before I rip a perfectly good muffler off my FR-S ..... http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...mages/cry2.gif ; other than "do a search" ..... "this has been discussed thousands of times" ....... "dang, you only have two nuts and 4 rubber hangars .... get on with it" ..... :search: humfrz |
The exhaust install is ridiculously easy. My brother had the mid pipe and exhaust off before I put together my new garage creeper. It literally is a few bolts and some hangers. The only tip I would have is to WD-40 the exhaust hangers, otherwise it's all extremely straight forward.

+1 to the WD-40 when removing the stock muffler from the hangars
An extra set of hands definitely helps when your trying to get it into the hangers. Just makes it go so much faster Edit: I would do the muffler first. Much more enjoyable when it's done haha |
Put the toilet where the muffler goes, and the muffler where the toilet goes. See if anyone notices.

The real question to ask yourself, do you spend more time in the car or on the toilet? I would guess the car...hopefully. I removed my old exhaust without WD40, pain in the ass. figured it out and used it to get the new exhaust on, really helps.

I would use silicone spray instead of WD40. Rubber likes silicone but WD40 could cause it to break down.
Good choice with the axleback, not so sure about the dunny. |
Toilet, nothing like having a fresh new toilet to sit on for that glorious morning dump

Can do the thunder mug after dark while it's raining tonight. Inside where it's warm.
So, assuming you're done with the nameless right? |
wd 40 does nothing, dish soap is the best lube

However, I don't have it on yet, my nap took longer than expected, since it was raining ..... now, I have to take my weekly bath (it's Saturday night), then I have to take mrs humfrz to the picture show. Besides, it will be raining tomorrow and the next day and the ..... So, the muffler will have to wait till tomorrow; yes, @Luis_GT, I'll have to use the same old crapper tomorrow morning (BTW, "you're ah mess" .... http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...mages/sigh.gif). @bkblitzed and all others, thanks for the tips .... humfrz |
