I've been busy with family and such since November and waiting on being able to be off work since it's dark by the time I leave, but I actually painted it 2 days ago (~ 5 coats of satin black + 3 light clear coat layers) and am waiting a few more days to install it. Should have it on next week. I just took a picture of the paint job, will post it up in a little bit.
And here's the picture: http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...KQMtDpd-XL.png |
Nice, can't wait to see the installed pics!
|
In for installed pictures.

Just wondering, how secure it is after installed? can it be pull off ?
my TRD tag was pulled off from my front spolier and some attemps on my clear side markers... I am really worry on these parts... |
And the TRD fender vents are installed...pardon my dirty car.
First two pictures are after the stock ones were removed... http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...-XxRDRNB-L.jpg http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...-VFPzW86-L.jpg Cleaned up the area where the vents go, got most of the adhesive off and area dried and installed the TRD ones on both sides. Then did 2 layers of wax on the vents. The rest of the pictures are the TRD ones installed... http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...Mdpszcb-XL.jpg http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...VJdsWSn-XL.jpg http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...WgQnJM3-XL.jpg http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...Sdvs7rZ-XL.jpg http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...SF5cMM5-XL.jpg http://vracer111.smugmug.com/photos/...KDpXLjp-XL.jpg Stock fender "vents" are pretty easy to pull off...I think these will be a little harder though due to how the adhesive strips run horizontally top and bottom at the rear and there is actually an adhesive pad at the front where OEM doesn't have one. |
looks good buddy!
