Power window auto drop fault ?

Posted this in the warranty thread also.

Seems likely to be a Canadian market type fault, if it is a fault.

The passenger side window dropped down halfway when the door was opened, instead of just an inch. Then the power window switches flashed in fault mode. The auto up function was disabled as if the window had auto reversed.

Resetting that BTW is easy, just put the driver or passenger side window all the way down, then raise it by holding the up switch, holding it for a few seconds after the window is fully up. Window switches stop flashing and the auto up/down works again.

Anyone else had this fault show up?

Yip ... just happened a few days ago ... must be due to the colder weather and the anti-jam function.

Cheers,

Mine is a later production date by serial number so officially not. Thanks for the link though.
