Parking lights for the JDM models? (86)
 

Hello everyone, does anyone know the lighting formation of the Toyota 86? Or more specifically the parking lights?

The FR-S's parking lights are the side markers and the front parking light under the headlight. But in Japan, the side marker along with the parking light is literally and ONLY for turn signal purposes. I know the LED strip is probably the DRL and then the headlight is for regular headlight and high beam. But where is the parking light??

I've searched through every single Youtube video on an JDM model of the ZN6 and it's always the daytime or if it's night. I only see the headlights on with foglights, but I don't know which is the parking light.

Does the Japanese models even have parking lights?

reason why I'm asking is because I'm trying to make mine the same as the Japanese models.

Australian spec with HID utilises the LED strip as both DRLs and parking lamps.

When operating as a DRL, the LED strip is illuminated at full brightness
When operating as a parking lamp and/or in conjunction with low/high beam headlamps, the LED strip is dimmed.

and now my question is, where is the turn signal light for FRS?

I've got a JDM spec 86 and we have no parking lights in whatsoever cars from Toyota here in Dubai.

Turn signals is where the parking lights are under the headlight. It acts as parking light and turn signal. And the side marker is always on and is ONLY a parking light
