Scion Event at Sanoma raceway
 

We dropped by the track today to see our friends racing it the US touring car championship and we stumbled across a Scion car event. I think it was a 10 year anniversary thing or something. Best part was seeing an LFA running on the track. My girl got a pic with Ken Gushi and Fredric Aasbo. And Ken sat in 86_ZN6's car.

My girlfriend is helping our friends with TNI racing on the last race of the season and I am pullin 12hrs over time today. :(

I believe that LF-A might belong to the owner of SF Toyota. When I bought my FR-S back in June I saw the car for sale in the showroom. The asking price was in the $3's if I remembered correctly.

Correct, the LFA is owned by MR Horton of SF Toyota. He is asking ~345k. Good deal if you ask me.

Very cool. My friend jay was one of the top scion sales guys in the area and got his FRS signed by gushi and aasbo there.

The sf dealer was letting a potential customer test it for the weekend I think. I asked the dude to rev it up for us, and he gave it a grandma hit on the gas.
I love the LFA no matter what, but I really dislike silver.
We had the Celica so we did not get any parts on the frs signed. :(
I saw Jay taking parts off for them to sign. :)

It was a fun event. Try gave some ride alongs with Gushi and Aasbo in stock FRSs. There was some awesome racecar testing on the track, and we got a free lunch. I didn't take too many pictures though because we got this disclaimer about not taking pictures. Then everyone was taking them anyway... It was strange.

Thanks man. I wish I knew about the event sooner. I would have liked to see them drift in person.
