Warning about Corsport USA

Hi all. I wanted to share my experiences with Corsport USA so others will not make the mistake of doing business with these guys.

I wanted to buy a password jdm front strut tower bar. I ordered from Corsport USA on August 28, 2013. Nothing on the item was marked as "out of stock." First red flag: over a week after placing the order I received no shipping information. On Sept 6 I had to email them to find out what was going on . Four days later they inform me that the part is not in stock and there is no ETA. Second red flag: Item is not in stock with no ETA and They offer me to buy a different item. Why would I buy something else when I went there specifically for that item?

I told them on 9-11-2013 to cancel my order. They never informed me that there would be a 5% charge for cancelling my order but it is on their website. To read some of the crazy things they do go read their terms. Now on Nov 8, 2013 (almost 2 months since I requested the cancellation) they told me they are going to charge me 5% for cancelling the order despite the fact they never even had the item in stock and there was never an eta. Their explanation for this was that they immediately charged my card despite not having the item to ship. There is a 3% fee from the credit card company. Then there is 3% fee when it is cancelled. They sure work fast on charging their customers but really take their time to actually deliver.

Here are some of the sparkling bits of exchange that Tai from Corsport USA shared with me.
All are dated Nov 8, 2013 (about 2 months since the order was cancelled).

"And actually, we will get it — we already issued it, its in our terms of which you are bound to during checkout — we will fight the chargeback by showing them what we already refunded and our terms, and you will lose, this process will also tie up your money and our money for the next 30-90 days.

Enjoy fu**ng yourself,
Tai"

And..

"Like I fu**ing said three times now, I am sorry, the dept was backed up, end of story. "

I can almost understand the fee bullshit (I've worked for 2 ecommerce companies), but cursing in an email is what really gets me. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

#1: Always use a credit card.
#2: If anything is out of place, and they refuse to address it, file a credit card claim.
#3: Profit?

File complaint with BBB. Call credit card company and cancel the charge.

The BBB is worthless.

File a chargeback with the CC company. Provide your e-mails as evidence. Case closed.

They seem to be more focused on pleasing the Honda crowd. Seeing as they aren't really active on our forums they don't have a reason to care.
