BRZ and GT86 confirmed for Forza 5
http://au.ign.com/wikis/forza-5/Cars
Pretty stoked that the twins are in the game. Apparently every car in the game has been rescanned and rebuilt for the next gen. Interesting that there's no Scion FRS as Forza 4 and Horizon had the FRS instead of the GT86. I wonder if the GT86 will have the Euro headlamps, it's name would suggest that it does. The Toyota and Subaru lineups are both actually pretty good considering the car list for this game is pretty lean at only 200 cars. But EVERY car is going to be able to be explored in Autovista mode which is pretty amazing. 14 tracks and no Nurburgring til January is sort of a let down, but Bathhurst, Spa and Yas Marina are in so I'll forgive them. Fuckin horse shit its an X1 exclusive....

Cool about the 86 being in without needing to buy DLC, but they dropped Nurburgring Nordschleife which is inexcusable for a "driving passion" game, not to mention Suzuka.
:bs: I am holding off until summer or more until they add back what Forza4 has I'm sure they will sell it back to us via "DLC" to justify the $50 season pass, so lame... :mad0259: |
GT6 much better :)

Bummed about Suzuka though. But Spa, Yas Marina and Bathurst should be amazing. |

I've got both the xb1 and ps4 preordered and will get both f5 and gt6 but (not trying to start any arguments, this is my opinion) the forza franchise has become the definitive car game on console. Gt4/5 were very lackluster and every forza has just gotten better (except horizon). That being said, I have hated forza giving in to arcadey style features and making it accessible to retards. Make it full sim, get rid of all the nonessential assists (keep abs, tcs, vsc), the stupid rewind crap, driving line, etc, etc) and for the people these games were originally designed for they will just be that much better for it. Keep horizon for arcade, forza for sim...gt for sim on the ps and driveclub for arcade. Also while their carlist is only 200 cars, you can guarantee that each car will be that much better and accurate for it, and they will all drive differently...I understand WHY gt does what they do being a driving simulator they want everyone to be able to drive their own cars, but seriously...who really gives a crap about the tiny cosmetic change that might be the only difference between two years models of the same car...which is why gt always has soooo many cars...most are the same...get rid of that and I'd be surprised if there were many more 3-400 |
Leave the basement, go drive the real car.

Yeah...
I'm not gonna play a video game when I have the actual car sitting in the garage... |

We still have the free mandatory Day One DLC that has yet to be revealed. I'm sure there won't be a TON of cars, but there are more coming.

i have a frs in forza 4 . its like $2. grand turismo physics really suck, kill the whole game not to mention to stiff camera

I hope GT6 has alleviated these problems. If it has I might buy it. I'm afraid that GT has become a quantity over quality series. They boast that there are 1000+ cars but they still utilise PS2 upscaled cars which is pretty shoddy. GT5 only had 200 cars that were actually modelled and built with PS3 tech. That said I will still probably buy GT6 to drive Willow Springs and Good Wood. |
