Mmmm self-incrimination.

I saw it in the trip info. Press More button in the Nav, and one of the option is to see your trips. I recorded one of my trips and it showed things like avg speed and top speed.

I turned the Nav trip logging feature ON. Now it logs every trip automatically.

I then go into the log menu and click on the individual trip that interests me. This pulls up interesting data for that trip, including the top speed attained.

Oddly, the log total miles often differs from the instrument panel trip odometer. Sometimes it's off by a few miles. It is the Nav unit that is incorrect. I have no idea why, and it does not concern me so I ignore this anomaly.

This is my first Nav unit, and I find it non-intuitive to use as well as a dangerous distraction when driving. The thing is a menace, taking my attention away from others on the road. One could run over a child while messing about with this Nav unit. I turn the screen display OFF when I'm driving.

LOL!

I've thought about that... :D

Perhaps I should make a habit of deleting those records showing triple-digit speeds. The thing will store a great many records for a long time. :)

The fastest I've ever gone is 65 mph on highways when weather conditions allow.

go2brz 11-11-2013 01:30 AM

I hit 103mph on the Arkansas "toothpick" Hwy 16 which heads west from Fayetteville across the spine of the Ozark mountains. And there are really no "straight" patches on the entire road, and no towns you have to go through (making for little police on the road), so you can keep pushing the car on and on. I recommend this road to any sports car owner who lives within acceptable driving distance of Fayetteville. Plus you can later turn south on Route 7 south, which is also a great drivers road and go to Hot Springs which is a nice old historic town. Or you can go North on Route 7 and end up in Branson, if that is your style.

Turn on trip logging for your GPS. Then you can scroll through and look at the stats. Keep in mind it is stored in the flash drive with the maps that you can remove.

Mine was just replaced under warranty for GPS repair and they sent it to subaru :scared0016:
