can't send quick messages in BRZ Limited
 

I have a BRZ limited and when I try to use the text option of sending quick messages it says message send failure. I also cannot use the free message feature. I'm using an IPhone 5. Has anyone else had this issue?

I've noticed this too. I think the car may need to be stopped to use this feature. If so, then what's the point? I usually just reply through Siri.

nope it's the iPhone it doesn't support the reply function on the HU. I'd like to know if anyone who has a Android or a windows phone that is able to user this function on the HU

I am pretty sure the iOS MAP profile doesn't support outgoing messages. You also can't send messages with Google glass while paired with an iPhone. Android does support this.
