iPhone 5S won't transfer texts
Hi Folks,
I recently got an iPhone 5s, and the head unit will no longer notify me of incoming texts or read them aloud. That worked fine with my 4s running iOS 6. I did go in and delete the old phone from the bluetooth connections, so my 5s is now the only device registered. Any thoughts? |
Do you have standard radio or bespoke?

It looks like it is just the head unit being a POS. My Galaxy III will do the text every now and then; however, it seems to be random... Usually working for text I don't care to see and then feeding me the ones that I could wait to see! :P
GLW getting it to work, or work constantly. Subaru def cut cost in this department and it shows in this SHODDY piece of crap HU! |
enable show notifications on your bluetooth seetings of the iphone
|
Set phone mode switch to "off", drive car. Easy.

Is it texts or iMessages that are not sending? In iOS 7, regular SMS is set to off by default. Check in the Messages settings to make sure SMS is turned on.
Here's a good article that covers all of the useful ways of transfer texts of iPhone 5s. Hopefully it helps for you. |
