I recently installed the WORKS ABM exhaust that i ordered from @86_ZN6 and wanted to do a quick review. There hasn't been too many reviews of this exhaust from what I have seen, so maybe this will help if your trying to make a decision on axlebacks. First and foremost, It sounds fantastic. The exhaust tone was just what I was looking for, not obnoxious but not too quiet. It has a nice deep growl around town and is very pleasant on the freeway if traveling longer distances. The fitment is near perfect, and is a drastic improvement over the dinky stock tips. The tips are perfect in my opinion, they dont stick out far and fill the exhaust holes nicely.

The one issue I would point out with my exhaust is the build quality. At first glance everything looked great. After closer inspection, there is some issues. The welds could be alot better. There is a partial welding rod still in the right pipe. This exhaust is on the cheaper side in the full range of exhausts available for the FRS/BRZ, but it could still be better quality for shelling out $400.

Even with the one issue, I am still very pleased with this exhaust and my purchase. I would recommend it! It makes the car alot more fun to drive, and I have noticed my radio is turned off alot more just to listen to the sound :drool:

Nice review. I love mine; even after installing a catless header it still tames the volume nicely while providing a deep, throaty tone. No issues with quality or welds either. My pipes look flush inside.

@ATL BRZ Yeah, it may have just been bad luck or a rushed job. I'm still very happy with this exhaust though! Your review is one of the reasons i picked it up.

Definitely considering one of these since WORKS is local to the Bay Area. Price is definitely right.

Any other exhaust bits on your car or is it just the axelback?

@PandaBRZ I just have the axleback only. Only other mod is AFE drop in.

If you plan on ordering the midipe and or frontpipe/overpipe, ill give you a discount on those :)

Considering that it is just an axle back, I wouldn't say that $400 is on the cheaper side. I just had to point that out.

I've put this on my "gotta have it" list. I don't care about pretending to see power gains from a catback or axle back - I just hate the puny stock tips, puny stock sound and heavy OEM mufflers suck. Also, I want more sound but am too old to be an obnoxious fart can ricer.

I am in love with the sound of the ISIS catback, but two hundred cheaper for something close enough? SOLD. Just need to scrape up a spare 4 bills!
