would someone explain to me how these guys go into reverse?

the first pic you quoted has an auto trans...the second one still has a reverse lockout :iono: so no difference?

Yup, mine is AT. Still not sure why it's confusing how it would be difficult to go in reverse though?

Are those door panel armrest blk leather or alcantara like the ones that come in the tS?

I think they are the same as the tS?

Top of the door is alcantara.
The "armrest" near the handle is black leather with red leather stripe and perforated leather around it.

That red leather works really well with the red on the arm rest. I was thinking about adding that piece, but I'm not sure how it would look in mine without the red bolsters.

I really want those alcantara top pieces too, but I think my 2 year old would ruin them.
