So... am I missing something?

I've had the car now for 2 weeks and was checking out the under carriage when I noticed that there is a black plastic panel under the drivers (LHD) side floor board but not under the passengers side. Am I missing something here? :iono:

the usdm cars didn't come with all the underpanels....if you google brz jdm underpanel, that's what we didn't get

Well that doesn't make sense, why would they do such a thing? Either put them both on or leave them both off......or maybe I'm just being too anal about symmetry.

Indeed you're being extremely anal. The panel you're referring to covers the fuel lines that run to the fuel tank. That stops debris from attaching and in extreme cases pulling and spewing fuel all over. Seeing as how there are none on the passenger side, to save a few bucks there is no panel on that side.

You can see the lines towards the left of the picture.

Ok, anal it is. I also had a hard time as a kid accepting the fact that the steering wheel/driver wasn't in the center of the damn car! Dad explained it to me, still didn't like it!:mad0259:

yea, I'm thinking that would have just made things worse....a non-functional steering wheel on the wrong side of the car......my head would have exploded! :suicide:
