Weird Noise???
 
I just happen to go out to the garage and I hear a noise start from the back of the car. Sounds like the fuel pump. It makes this noise for 5 minutes or so and shuts off.

Weird thing is the car hasn't been driven for 1/2 a day.

Any ideas?

Open the hood, is it by chance coming from the throttle? Mine has made that sound in the past. I just wanted to point that out just incase the sound was bouncing out of the bay and making it sound like it was coming from somewhere else.

RTFM.. its normal.. fuel system emissions maintenance occurs randomly.

yes ,normal. Some type of self check it does every once in a while. Mine has done it too.
