I need a plumbers knowledge
Today I came home from shopping and as I pulled in the garage I heard a loud thump-thump-thump coming from outside. I thought an otherwise conservative neighbor had his stereo turned up. I get in the house and went to wash my hands and the water came out pulsating to the same tempo as the thumping. I went outside my garage to where the city water enters my house and that is where the thumping was coming from. Pertinent information: at the time my wife had the clothes washer running. Also a little over a week ago we had the hot water heater replaced.
Can any one tell me what's going on?
edit. My wife just flushed a toilet and when turning on the faucet to wash her hands there was hardly any water pressure.
