Where is the best dealer to get Scion FR-S?

Hi. I'm planning to get whiteout FR-S in the future but I don't really know about best dealer to deal with. Is there any preferred Scion dealer on this forum? I know some forums have some dealers as their vendors and usually those dealers can hook up forum members with very good deal.

I live in Davis, CA but don't really mine to travel to get the right car. I'm not in hurry but will do the research as soon as I can because I will get one as soon as I got my employment letter (hopefully).

I know for Subaru BRZ is heuberger (sorry if I type it wrong) but where is fpr Scion?

If you're willing to drive, go down to Socal Power Toyota in Cerritos is pretty good. Look for Weng and tell him I referred you.

:sigh:

There's no exemplary Scion dealer that has emerged, and if you're in a populated area of California you're positively boned, the cars don't get options slapped on them in low population areas to keep the MSRP down as opposed to the Bay and LA who jack theirs up to well over $30k because the demand is there.

Either you get a salesman's nuts in a vice or you go long distance, I was talking to a dealership up in Oregon who wasn't adding in bullshit, ended up getting a salesman to commit to a no option car in San Jose but I would have flown up and driven it down if I had wanted the car bad enough but I waffled on it. Was two words and an airplane trip away from getting a Hot Lava up there but panicked.

Sales have slowed, you should be able to call around and ask for what you want, if they can do the deal they'll try, most would rather move what's on the lot with absurd markups and will just forget you exist the moment the phone gets hung up. Not many will sympathize because with "pure price" and dealers hungry for sales elsewhere it isn't as bad, hence the sarcasm.

In any case, this should have been posted in the NorCal subforum, not the main one.

Fly out here to Jax. You get what you want. Period. I made my dealer my bitch

Scion in Buena Park is pretty legit. Ask for William Lincks. I came in on a friday night, despite having issues with my pre-approval not yet arriving. I just wanted to see the car. He ended up guaranteeing me at least 4%, and would confirm it the next monday when TFS had cleared my paperwork. If it didn't work, he told me to just bring the car back no hard feelings, no money lost.

Got back in touch with me that monday, told me that he could get me 2.75%. HE GOT A LOWER APR AND GAVE IT TO ME. Mad respect.

Longo Toyota/Scion in Long Beach. Use their internet quote and work with their internet sales guy. Longo is the biggest Toyota dealer in the US. I've purchased past 3 Toyotas from them. For the FR-S, I used Toyota Escondido since Scion uses Pure Pricing and I didn't want to have to drive up to LA. Process was smooth with no pressure and I got the base car I wanted.

Check out Montgomery Scion in Augusta. Worth the drive!

Thanks guys! I have been eyeing Longo and Escondido because the price is reasonable there. In area where I live, there are few dealers but the problem with unpopulated area is the supply not too much

Check out TrueCar.com I saw some dealerships offering about 24k around Redwood City & Fairfield.

I got a great deal at Carson Toyota through fleet manager Diane, but it was through a great car loan with Pen Fed. Advertised .74% if you use their car buying service which is really True Car. Carson was the lowest quote from PenFed, Diane will get you the car you want with what you want on it at under msrp. This was at the end of July, should be even better deals on 2013's if any left I would think.

It appears that a lot of '13 models' prices have gone down since the 14s came out. I'd just search for untouched fr-s and buy it. Of course doing maintenances on your own.
