There is a lot of fluff and we prefer to add parts that work. ;)

On another note, we started from nothing and we're slowly populating our website. We hope to transform the website throughout 2015 so it makes it easier to navigate, as well as provide a new look to make the experience much more pleasing. It's one of those things that we have been wanting to do but our staffing is overworked due to the busy test and R&D schedules. In California, the weather is too good so we rarely have any downtime...

Pfhhh, blame the weather why don't you...

And for the record, I'm all about function myself. Hopefully I'll have an S2K again by the end of this year.

Actually almost all 52 weekends are already occupied for the year for clientele racing support, driving development, car development, or super secret testing. There are random tests in the middle of the week as well where we get invited by undisclosed entities to show up at the racetrack and provide 3rd party feedback as well. The weather is great, but doesn't help when you're expected to show up epic storm or shine. :bonk:

You have the tools and knowledge to be #1 in your region now. Make it happen. ;)

No build thread yet. I probably wouldn't bump the power to go to TT3, but do a lot of weight reduction. My minimum competition weight to stay in TTB is 3000lbs so I have a lot of weight I can cut.

I've only had one weekend NOT at the track this year.

Halp!

sw20kosh 04-21-2015 11:34 PM

I used to think I could figure things out on my own and navigate the track world with ease... Naive.

CSG has time and again delivered on what they state as fact, performance/track wise. These guys have been at this for a while and they live and breathe tracking. Every part or consumable I buy now goes through CSG approval. They are a valuable resource. I've had many parts fail due to the rigors of tracking, but none of the parts CSG had recommended have skipped a beat.

They are always willing to advise and help you improve. I really appreciate mike's freebie coaching sessions he gives out randomly every once in a while. Just riding along with him teaches you so much, eye opening really.

Over 9000 Thumbs up!

My experience so far with CSG, for what it's worth :)

Communication with David has been clear and very quick (considering time zone differences). I knew my order was going to take a while to arrive, and was further delayed to no fault of CSG (sigh, LA port strike), but every request has been answered quickly and concisely.

Order will be here tomorrow, and judging from how late UPS received the shipment on Monday, CSG made every extra effort to get everything out in a timely fashion. Much appreciated!

Oooh I know what you're getting

You've gonna love them... you'll be shocked when you pick up the boxes.

Yeah, I saw the shipping weight of each... 21 lbs. IIRC, that's what the stockers are naked.

I just spoke with David at CSG regarding the tranny/diff Track fluid package and happily ordered. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped guide me to the right setup based on my driving style and routine. You can expect custom-tailored service from the folks over there regardless of product inquiry.

I'll definitely be ordering more in the future from CSG based on my experience with David.

Solid recommendation @Pat for @CounterSpace Garage to assist me.

Ordered a set of Winmax W2's from David. After the research I did, and questions I asked, I decided these would best fit what I use my car for. That and a pleasant experience before with Mike on my KW V3's that I got for a killer deal and are super comfortable in all situations, led me back to doing business with CSG. Huge contributors with a wealth of information.

Now I'm just waiting for Mike to talk me into a JRSC later....

mkivsoopra 05-05-2015 08:16 PM

The crew at CSG delivers again! I was trying new tires at the track last weekend, and it became very obvious that I needed more camber. I'm currently on stock suspension with camber bolts, and won't be doing coilovers for a while, so I needed a set of camber plates. I ordered a set from CSG, and 2 days later, they're on my doorstep. Installed the camber plates yesterday, got my car aligned today, and I'm ready for the next track day this weekend. Thanks, guys!

They've also been very helpful in providing valuable advice to make the car fast and reliable on the track, not just to sell parts to move volume. On a few occasions, they've even told me not to buy something, even though I was ready to buy the part from them. :bellyroll: These guys really know their stuff!

Thumbs up

I just received all of the parts for my order from the guys at CSG to built my SCCA T4 FR-S.

I don't know that they need more positive feedback, but I particularly liked how David talked me out of buying certain parts ( and then talked me into another) but these guys do not just want to generate revenue, they truly have your best interests in mind.

Very good advance including contacting Manufacturer for assistance and clarifications

thanks @CSG David

It helps when we actively develop our shop cars, and compete! I'm glad you've found our experience helpful.

Consider it handled! Is there a contingency award for posting the official results?

FWIW, I believe our entire field of TTB cars and drivers are CSG supporters... Tyler, Mike, Andy, (I think David is), and myself. 3 86s and 2 S2000s. The other S2000 driver is feeling the pressure. He's stepping up to a Stoptech BBK and some kind of +12 point slicks.

CSG Mike 05-07-2015 03:08 AM

Wait this is where Ira's CR went?

That's pretty encouraging. More mods doesn't necessarily make people go faster. ;)

Yea. Tyler is the new owner and he has had the honor to stretch #172's legs. :D

I'd like to send a big thank you to CSG and CSG-David for getting me set up with some Winmax W5 pads prior to my first track weekend. I am 100% sure that I would not have had the same experience with two days at NOLA on stock pads. All four pads came in on time, and the recommendations were solid. I was hesitant to put such aggressive pads on a stock car on stock tires, but after two hard track days I am really, really happy I did.

Thanks again guys, I will definitely look to you in the future for both advice and go fast(er) mods!!

Dustin

Couldn't be happier with the service. Got my Jackson SC CARB kit in the time frame promised. Needed a little help during my self install and they were very helpful and responsive both on the phone (on the 3rd of July) and via email.

Competitive pricing and great service, you can't go wrong.

Ordered a set of Spoon front offset ball joints for my S2k from @CSG Mike through this forum and he's been extremely helpful and responsive throughout the process.

Parts took a while to receive (almost 2.5 months) primarily due there being no stock at all. Payment was easy and Mike kept me informed of the status or got back to me within 24-48 hours of a PM.

Parts looked great and brand new and was packaged well.

Would highly recommend and buy again (assuming the Cdn dollar goes back up)!

Two thumbs up!

The guys over at CounterSpace Garage are awesome to work with. In my opinion, 'CSG' should stand for "Customer Service Gurus" as they were super helpful in answering my questions and helping me track down my Jackson Racing Oil Cooler.

Keep it up, CSG! I'll hit you guys up when I need consumables!

@CSG David actually bought that same Spoon part as well for his personal S2000 CR to replace his J's Racing unit and also waited the same amount of time. :)

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining - I told Mike I wasn't in a rush and I wasn't :)

He was very up front with me stating that it would take a while and I appreciated that honesty and up front-ness.
