Headlight Damage
A...boot...or something came flying down the highway at me today. Since I'm used to the twins damaging easily by now, I just sighed, and basically waited for the inevitable. Of course, a Civic in front of me plowed through the boot like it was nothing, but of course, you can't go through much of anything in a twin. So I took a nice scuff at 100KM/H from a flying boat.
Anyway, I now have a nice long scratch on the right side of the front bumper. It actually looks like the headlight plastic took most of the damage. What do you guys think my options are? It's not deep scarring or anything, but more like it's a plastic scratch on the bumper as well as the headlight. Do you guys think I should use the touch up paint on the bumper? IIRC, the bumper is plastic, so rusting won't be an issue, and I might do a terrible job touching it up. As for the headlight...can it be sanded out? Or do I need to get a new one?
