Open Flash Tablet Manager Software (problem after internet update)
Just received my OFT in the mail. Running a Windows 7 laptop with the Win8 patch installed.
Immediately after downloading updates, my Windows tried to open a file called "FA20". It seems that the replacement .exe for the main executable didn't get named correctly or with the correct file extension. I renamed it to FA20.exe and it *seems* to be working okay now. |
have the same problem here!
|
rename the FA20 file in c:\OpenFlash to FA20.exe
then run FA20.exe let it do it's update close re-open (mine did another update at this point) They are releasing a new installer tomorrow if you can wait. |
the question is... can I?
the answer is... nah..... seems to work now! thanks for the trick! |
Hi guys- this is a known problem: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=560
Should be address tomorrow with a new version of the OpenFlash Manager software that we will be making available for download tomorrow. Sometimes firmware updates need to be accompanied by software updates as well. Cheers Shiv |
New OpenFlash Manager v1.03 software is now available for download from our website
It will solve the connectivity issue that everyone has had since the last automatic OFT firmware update. Ignore that some of the text is written in Italian. Just some minor language bugs that we still have to work out :) But everything else should be fully functional... Thanks for your patience! Cheers Shiv |
