Quad projectors, halos, AND demon eyes
Here is my latest build at illuminating Lightworx. I haven't seen this one done, but maybe someone else has one. Luiz wanted something a bit different, after talking for a couple weeks this is what we came up with
A new black FRS sitting on cusco coilovers and TRD exhuast as far as aftermarket equipment goes http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psb42ef8ef.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps61a5a1ad.jpg He wanted the housings to be as close to factory match paint as possible http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psdbbadc8a.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps6abf8a17.jpg Testing the demon eyes in the new mini H1 6.0 projector and the matchbox projector http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psd703884f.jpg All sealed up, I used extra sealant on this one.. Everyone before hand seemed to have more then enough sealant, this one seemed a little lacking http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps69257d3f.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...pscd0102bf.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps3bb660e7.jpg Mounted in the car, aimed up and ready to go. The hand made XB35 6k bulbs are awesome and worth the money.. My next FX-R retrofit in my FRS will have these bulbs http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps9dddda01.jpg Just under the cut off http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps99e8d9fd.jpg Above the cutoff. I've don't three of these now, this is the first one where the small projector is just glaring off the front bumper, making a blinding reflection.. I'm going to be baking these back apart and making a fore ground limiter to help with that hopefully http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psb66be682.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps04efd995.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psf72b3ac0.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps0315912f.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps4f474325.jpg The halos came out great.. http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps23ca74eb.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psa3c91901.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psdabb2f93.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps9ce38cc7.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps706212f6.jpg And finally the demon eyes and halos http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psd98fcd85.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps190ebea4.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psedb0a04d.jpg Hope y'all enjoy.. So far this is by far my "crown jewel" I've done a few of these and I've done a lot of retrofits and halo installs and demon eye installs. But this is my best FRS quad kit.. There are some problems with parts, a new projector is coming as the main one on the left side fogged up for some reason.. Otherwise, love it |
you're an inspiration man. i did this too(because of you!), but my 90mm halos appear dimmer than the 60mm that i have. i wired up with the provided voltage regulators, have it running to a relay, and powered from the 12v at the arm rest. where are you powering yours from?

love everything but the halos. Car looks SICK!!!!
|
Amazing job!!!

Wow, very cool looking. I like the halos on all 4 but I think I might like the demon eyes on just the outer lights. Can you have it so it's just the demon eyes on without the halos?
|
Amazing work!
|
What did u use for demon eyes I have 3 watt rgb less in each one on mine and the halos completely wash the color out and u can't even see it but the color projects on the ground about 4 feet in front of my car

nice love it

Very nice craftsmanship
are the outer halo's parallel with the inner halos? It looks like they may point outwards a bit...kinda like biggie smalls' eyes did. You cant really tell from the front but I wonder if it looks a bit strange from an angle. I will draw a terrible diagram to visualize my question. Front of the car is > are they like: \ <<<<<< beams of light | <<<<<< | <<<<<< / <<<<<< or are they like: | <<<<<< | <<<<<< | <<<<<< | <<<<<< |
|
Looks really good,
|
I bow down to your godly skills O|¯|_
