Styling cues
Looking at the cover of a recent Evo magazine I couldn't help noticing how much the BRZ looks like a small Maserati Grand Coupe. There are also hints of Ferrari 599 evident.
Some say the BRZ isn't pretty but I disagree. Its a head turner and especially so for a Japanese product. |
hmmm I disagree....while they are all sports coupes...
I think it retains the styling cues from cars like the volvo s60, audi a3, cadillac ats, and bentley continental much more than the ferrari or maserati |
First time my dad saw the car he thought it looked like a corvette. I think the Crosstrek is an absolute eye-sore but more and more keep popping up. Must all be in the eye of the beholder :iono:
Def agree it's got some sort of exotic look...but could never put my finger on it |
I would find it odd when people wouldn't call the car pretty. I have gotten more comments and questions on the BRZ than both of my WRXs combined.

Also it looked like it drove like an uber-BRZ :P http://image.motortrend.com/f/roadte...-motion-03.jpg I think except for the missing aero-crease along the side, the BRZ looks even more like the F12 than it does the 599. The rear fender flares are pretty similar between the F12 and the BRZ, that's for sure. I'm gonna start calling mine an F1.2 Berlinettini :3 |

I totally understand. The other day, someone asked me if it was the Bugatti Veyron.

I drove next to a red F12 Berlinetta on the highway a few weeks ago. Our BRZ does not look anything close to that beauty. :( My god did that thing sound beastly.

I had a guy ask me if it was a Maserati just last week. Living downtown where there is a lot of crime, I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

The Vantage is a much prettier car IMHO. |
