Help! KW V3 install positive camber...
Hi guys, sorry, need a bit of help here. I've just installed my KW v3's on my car. And when I put it all down, I notice (by eye) that the front wheels in particular have got a bit of positive camber to them. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Am I doing something wrong, is there something I can do apart from buying camber plates/bolts? I'm running OEM top hats and I raised the height very close to the maximum height so the drop is not too drastic. Please help! Thank you |
The struts should be slotted so loosen the 2 bolts and push against the hub to dial in negative camber for the time being until you can get an alignment

The upper mounting point on the hub is slotted. I'm guessing you didn't push the hub in when tightening. Also, why even get coilovers if you're just setting them for stock height? The lower you go, the more negative camber you'll get. If you're getting positive camber now, it's either the hub being towards the outside of the slot or you raised the car higher than stock height.

i set the coils to do a 1" drop from stock. You're right about the hub, come and think of it, I didn't push the hub in when tightening. I let it sag down towards me to free my hands to tighten it. Hopefully correcting that mistake will fix things up! Quote:
