Thoughts on raven and carbon fiber?

Hey all I just wanted to throw this poll up real quick as I was curious what people thought about our black (raven) cars with carbon fiber exterior pieces, i.e. wing, lip, lip, skirts, etc. I know raven is extremely shiny so some of my friends have told me it clashes, but I think it looks awesome and at the end of the day that's really all that matters to me, however I am curious as I don't see that look too often. So if you feel like it vote in my poll!
thanks,
Brandon

I used to have carbon fiber and black. I only like carbon fiber on black because it blends in so well. Everything else to me is just mehh. Besides if you get a glossy finish on the carbon fiber then itll look just as glossy as the black on your car. If you want to see what it looks like check out my car journal i have a couple pics i think on there from when i had a lip kit, hood, and mirrors.

I've seen both good & horrible Raven w cf.

Good one was Raven w cf lip & rear diffuser (I think). It was very clean & nice drop too.

Horrible one was cf wrap roof w several other exterior parts was cf or fake cf wrap & it was just horrible. looked like car was primed & ready to paint in different areas.

Don't love the look of carbon fibre with any colour combination.

If you're doing some serious racing and it's functional, I get it. If you only drive your car on the streets or some open lapping, it just looks like you're trying too hard. For the price, there are much more aesthetically pleasing looks than carbon fibre.

And this is why I sold my carbon fiber. For the price you can get so much more.

I don't know about that - well done carbon fiber is one of the most aesthetically pleasing looks out there, in my opinion. Fake carbon fiber is awful though, and poorly done CF isn't much better (and sadly, most of the time, you see fake or poorly done CF).

You only see carbon fiber if it's being shown off, in this decade it's for try-hards. Even F1 doesn't show off CF anymore, it's lighter to throw on a coat of thin paint.

Not convinced on carbon fiber as a decorative feature. I think it has tipped into the "past it" category now that the new Corolla has a faux carbon fiber bumper surround.

I think that trunk looks hella good. I don't get how carbon fiber is out of date? Its just a lightweight material.

It looks good with the diffuser and spoiler imo

I feel carbon fiber is so played out now, mostly because all the carbon pieces I've seen have faded and diminished over time. Everyone else is right about carbon pieces being painted now, it was once a fad to show-off the carbon in full. Now, first thought that comes to mind is, "RICE" whenever I see it. Carbon can look good with Raven, but with moderation. And I mean very minimal.
