Tuning shop

Ive been looking everywhere and thought I'd stop by here and ask. I'm looking for a tuning shop around the bay area that can tune a Turbo TC2. GST and Blacktrax cannot and DNR never picks up their phones so I dont know about them. Anyone happen to know of a place?

The only one I know who has done some tuning for a turbo car is WORKS (both an AVO set-up and their own). I personally have never worked with them, so don't know about service, etc.

I've tried to call them a couple of times, no one answers the phone -- I gave up. It's like phone calls are not viable... Kinda disappointing.

Do TC2's need specific tuning cables/programs?

Lawrence at Dynospotracing (408-271-9800)can tune anything as long as you don't need special software/hardware that you don't provide.

I trust works quite a bit.
I had both my girls frs and my dad's 370z tuned by him.
Also a friend from Canada came down to visit with a 370z that has a stillen supercharger on it. Works was able to get another 50hp safely for his kit. Even did a tune for California 91 octane and after blending 91 with 97 a separate map for 93 for back up in Canada.

Lastly we have plans to have him install the production versions of his turbo kit.

You have an AEM controller? Find an AEM tuner. Gotta be lots of them.

i have the fuel / ignition controller. called several tuning shops that are AEM certified in the area but they said that they couldnt do it unless i had a AEM series 2 ems controller.

Try getting an online tune from whomever you bought the kit from. Anybody who tunes it will need to learn the ins and outs of your car to make a good tune, which will take awhile. You're probably best off for now with a canned tune.

I would try talking to Ptuning. They might be able to help. They have a TC2 kit and use the FIC.
