It's weird sometimes. Sometimes We will get a compliment and 10 min later someone will yell it sounds like shit.

When this happens rev louder and just yell "I can't hear you!"

I'm always hesitant to give an enthusiastic wave to a fellow 86 driver .. as I rarely get a return wave and don't want to look like a smiling fool.

I had that happened to me once. It was from a guy driving a e46 m3 on a local street. Hell I'm sitting in my car parked waiting to pick up my gf and I see dozens of people just constantly looking at my car, dirty or clean.

i was parked yesterday sitting my car waiting and this older couple (40s+) comes walking past my car and i hear the woman scream "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" as shes looking through her purse so i dont pay any attention... she walks to the front of my car and turns around and saids WOW! HOT CAR! is that a scion? as i proceed to nod, kind of throw off guard and she gives me a thumbs up...
