Any snowboarders out there!?
 

Anybody else go boarding? I go to Crystal, Snoqualmie, and occasionally Schweitzer for boarding, and I just went from a Nissan Pathfinder to a Scion FR-S.

So my question for you guys is, do you guys take your 86s up to the mountains? If you do, what tires do you guys suggest getting, and also what roof racks do you guys have for your boards!?

I've done the mountains in an M3 before with blizzaks. I wouldn't recommend it in the twins or any RWD car. It gets pretty sketchy. Traction control will still slip in the snow (quite a bit actually).

Stevens is my home mountain, but I drive an STI in the winter.

I ski, but I have a Subaru outback for the winter

Crystal is my mountain of choice - despite the outrageous price of a lift ticket.

I typically make my friends drive, because if the FRS can't do it my MR2 certainly won't either.
