Anybody considered about rideing comfort?

I mean I love how the car looks and I want to have one but I have a scion TC and its comfortable but its not a real sporty car like the FR-S .
Even I know the FR-S has a stiffer suspension than the BRZ I still want the FR-S.

Years ago I drove my ex girlfriend Acura RSX and it was more sensitive to bumps than my TC .
So I assume the FR-S would be similar if not worst, well that's the price I will have to pay,
And lets just wait for my test drive ,anybody who drove the car or sit in the passenger sit what's was your experience and what do you have to compare it to ?

Thanks!

If you want a sports car there are compromises. I don't think this car will be any worse than other sports cars out tehre, that said a lot of reviews have complemented its ride (a few have griped though as well).

The one thing that I will say, "sporty" Subarus are know for having short suspension travel and on really rough roads I think there will be bad impacts on large bumps/potholes... On my STI if you hit a big road imperfection it was pretty harsh. The front suspension on this car I believe has more bump travel than WRXs/STIs so maybe it won't be as bad.

So I can just hope for the best...

I wouldn't be too worried, but if ride comfort is a big deal to you, I'm not sure this is the car to get.

I just learned to be aware of potholes and other road surface imperfections on the STI.

If you want a sports car dont worry about the ride quality

Nah I do that with my TC so its not new to me.

Well after that the biggest thing Subarus are know for is rattles, but hopefully Toyota's role in development will give it a better fit and finish... just sitting in one I could tell the interior panels were much more solid feeling that Subies, so I think its a safe assumption.

I've driven the Honda S 2000 which I thought rode pretty hard. The FRS rides firm but not as harsh as the Honda. Also doesn't have the peaky VTECH like the Honda, more of a wider spread of horsepower and torque.

No, no I have not

The car suspension is not stiff considering it a sporty car. If you make car to stiff, people with less feeling to the car wouldn't be able to handle at the limits of the car.
