I wish I could offer advice on tuners. Currently, the Innovate kit is the only one tempting me. I have a PD blower on my V6 Mustang (also low on power in its stock form), and I love the extra torque on demand. Is the FR-S your daily driver? If not, and you have the space, time, and some basic tools, why not try the install yourself? I'd bet it's not too difficult, just a little time consuming. I did this with my Mustang and there is a certain level of satisfaction from using your own hands to do the job. I used the supplied tune for the first year before I was able to select a tuner and get the car on a dyno. Canned tunes will generally give up a bit of power in the interest of safety. I'm not sure of your mechanical ability, but if you have the time/space, I'd be glad to throw some tools in the car, and come give you a hand with the install if you decide to go this way. Either way, be sure to let us know if you get one. If my FR-S wasn't my daily driver, I'd be getting one for sure.

I too am leaning toward the innovate kit with the intercooler add on and smaller pulley, I hear Lachute Performance is good installer but a tad pricey, If you choose the DIY route, I too would like to lend a hand. Are you thinking about changing the injectors and clutch at the same time?

Check out Tapp Automotive on Cleopatra in Nepean, talk to Chris Tapp.

And try Sean at Yonaka in Ottawa (Stevenage Dr I think?) he might not do it himself but he has enough connections he could point you in the right direction at least. He has an FR-S too ;)

Or we'll do a big FT86Club-Ottawa install bash in someone's garage - i'll offer my assistance - I can use a wrench ;) Remember I have swapped my suspension to c-o's (on the FR-S and my old 05 Corolla) and exhaust and other stuff.

Good luck and keep us posted on what you end up doing!

Norm. Good choice with the Innovate. I am planing on going the same root, and after also ad a turbo. Have you seen the Mrt performance project 86 car? They have done a twin charged car. It will be crucial to find a expert. Good luck on your search.
