Perrin Inlet Hose Defects

Was just wondering if anyone else has seen this on theirs or others and would like to know if it will affect the operation of the hose in anyway. Notice the dents ( lack of silicone in some areas).

I'm guessing it's normal for a variation in the manufacturing process, as long as air doesn't go through, it should not affect it in any way. It won't affect air flow and if it doesn't go directly through the tube, no problem as far as I see.

Mine had some little bumps/specs of silicone inside as well. I didn't think it would be enough to disrupt the airflow, so I just installed it and didn't look back.

Ok thanks guys. Will continue with the install then.

yeah no problem. mine is like that too

More or less the same flaws (one but bigger actually) were on my hose as well. It's like 1/30 of the silicone thickness, so shouldn’t have any impact on the airflow I think.
