Top gear says the 160 refers to the 160bhp/ton which is what the GT86 makes.

It's a three cylinder at 660cc, cheap to turbocharge.

Toyota's official figure for 0-62 is 7.6 seconds and the British car reviewers (Top Gear, Evo, Autocar) usually publish that figure instead of their tested figure.

American magazines (R&T, C&D, MT) usually publish the figure they test. For the FR-S/BRZ, I've seen everywhere from 6.1 - 7.3 seconds for 0-60.
