No ones mad here.
Just saying there is a difference. That difference is weight. It's really that simple. If you are racing in a competitive class, then any opportunity to save a few pounds here and there are sometimes appreciated (they can add up). If you are just modding a car for fun, then it really doesn't matter. |

The most reliable way to use these 'adjustable' bars is use the hole closest to OE! Forget the rest! |
I never thought about this, you bring a good point, I will think about it when will change my sway bar.
It's difficult to know how the car will react whit a bigger sway bar this is why they put holes to give the possibility to correct the handling depend on the setup. I try to mean, it's maybe a little bit difficult to know exactly the bar we want, example : to get more oversteer, not to much and I need to bought a bar with only one hole in the perfect spot according to my setup. |

I'm not entirely following what you're actually talking about, but would guess that's what these other adjustments are for..? |
Eibach, Hotchkis, and our RCE bars are hollow. Not sure on anyone else.
Our 25mm front hollow bar is roughly equal to a 22mm solid. Our 19mm rear hollow bar is roughly equal to a 16mm solid. Both would weigh less than a solid bar of similar stiffness. I can post the equations if you're curious but it doesn't do much good if you don't have the inner diameter of the bar tube. - Andy |
First post unpdated!

Is it me, or the % (percents) the mfgs are spouting of +XX% or +YYY% increase are not the same for stock?
What are the values for stock and that should be in the list, pointing out those that are being *cough* slightly inaccurate as to their rate increases. |
Sway bar option list
First post updated for whiteline spec!

I recently installed SPL Pro rear LCA with end links, was able to play with the 3 different mounting point for the end links on the LCA with OEM sway bars at Laguna Seca, each mouting point makes drastic change on oversteering - more stiffer more oversteer, im pleased with the softest setting resembling OEM driving dynamic and clocked the fastest time.
Long story short - OEM sways are awesome!! |
Nice setup but expensive ;)
I placed an order on the whiteline package, rear 16mm sway bar with brace and link. |
I've been looking for something like this! Good stuff!
