Has anyone experienced this before?

My A pillar is rattling (driver side) only at certain rpm. It gets annoying so next time when i go to the dealership i will raise my concern with the service manager.

I know this issue, it's happening to mine too.
I took it to the dealer but the mechanic couldn't quite put his finger on it. I'll be returning the car to them soon to see if they can get it this time.

Sound can travel funny in a car. Check for a somewhat loose wire bundle under the dash, left of the steering wheel, behind the fuse panel. I had a similar noise, and discovered that it was that wire bundle.

While the car is moving and making that noise, start pushing on panels to see if it stops to narrow down the location and cause

Mine only rattles when my subwoofer is going, even on low haha

BRZnut 01-09-2016 05:41 PM

mine did that too. A little clear caulk at the seam between the upper and lower plastic piece stopped the rattle, and that was 2 years ago! Still nice and quiet

Resurrecting an old post in case this helps anyone.

My passenger side A Pillar has been rattling when going over bumps. I pulled it off as far as the airbag wiring etc would let me, and saw one pop clip in the middle of the pillar. I smothered the pop clip and the hole it goes into with white lithium grease. That stopped the rattling for me
