Thanks! :thanks:

About 800 dollars from a breeder in Kentucky. Drove out there to pick her up, and don't regret it for a minute. She's had some health problems, so vet bills were killing me until I got pet insurance.

If you're in a highly populated area, they run about twice as much.

The name of the breed is a Samoyed.

Small world. ^Bella^ also came from a breeder in KY. She was two years old when we adopted her. She was "retired" show dog, but hadn't one any major awards so the breeder didn't want to use her for breeding purposes.

Their loss has been our gain.

Acutally I was taking a photo of flowers & she came into the pic. Here's another one I was taking a pic of new wheels & she got in my way of taking a pic.

She's an attention whore

I usually keep more of the common varieties than pure breeds. I've gotten lucky with some cats and dogs that have really great personalities that way.

This is the best picture I have ATM. >.>
http://allch-chcar.com/saved/Charlie%20cat.JPG
Charlie on the other hand, used to be the coolest cat. He was one of the kittens we raised, gave away and then had to take him back after he attacked a kid in bed, supposedly without being aggravated . I took him back because they were going to kill him. He used to be super skittish when we first got him back and the slightest thing would send him running. He calmed down after living with us for awhile but he still hates children.

He's an outdoor cat and long hair so I had to leave him at the farm while I went to school. I'm going to try and get a place I can bring him when I transfer this year.
Plus he does stuff like this.
http://allch-chcar.com/saved/DSC00240.JPG

Pickles is the family dog but he's got a sweet personality. Getting a bit old so he's gone pied in the face since this.
http://allch-chcar.com/saved/Pickles.JPG
I need to update my pics, all the ones I have are old and for some reason B&W.

Then there is Jen.
http://allch-chcar.com/saved/JenJen.JPG
This is a wild cat the neighbor dog brought home, she is sweet but she's not half the mouser Charlie is.

Bella isn't, she runs at the sight of a camera. It's kind of funny. I think she thinks we're stealing her soul or something.

Yup, I think that's what they are too, but most animals (dogs) are like that. I'll tell this chick's dog to go away sometimes, but the damn dog doesn't know when to scram sometimes. Yours however looks like it just wants to get its picture taken I guess.

I'll have to add my dog, cat, and bird later.

Oooh, C0ckatoos are crazy birds! Always energetic and fairly destructive! They are quite pretty though!

I have two feeders in my yard right now (with plans for a third). One has my special blend of seed plus suet and then a separate meal worm feeder just for the blue birds. I can sit in my family room and see them both. :) Thinking of adding a hummingbird feeder but need to find a good spot for it!

speed_demon 04-17-2012 12:24 AM

My chihuahua spike. He was a stray that showed up at my back door and just never left. Quietest, most well behaved dog I have ever met.

Dang that's cool! Take some pics if you get Hummingbirds chilling in your backyard!

Hey but bills are a small price to pay for keeping an animal thats always happy to see you! But that price isnt bad, my boss just bought a pure poodle for $1,800 so $800 isnt bad at all! Im not in the market for the dog atm, but if i was this one would take the cake!

LOL! That will be a real test of the carrying capacity of the trunk space on the FR-S for me! Bella weighs more and is probably "taller" than the JDM young ladies we've seen stretched out in the trunk.

My family's beagle, Sophie. These photos are nearly 4 years old but all I have at the moment. She around 4 when these were taken.

Playing with some strange shellfish by the lake:

She got tired and thirsty. Doesn't mind the taste of lake water.
