2004 Subaru WRX STi, Java Black Pearl

Hey guys,

I picked up this 2004 WRX STi in August when it was traded to my dealership. I was looking for a winter car and had always liked the "blob-eye" STi, so when an unmolested one came in on trade and I had the opportunity to purchase it, I jumped! It is the rare Java Black Pearl which has a lot of gold flake in it, and was only offered in 2004. Very pretty!

Unfortunately, in my two months of ownership I have realized that this was not the best car for my needs. I am pretty tall (6' 2") and the stock seat offers no thigh support, making long drives uncomfortable for me. Also, the clutch pedal is pretty heavy and gets uncomfortable sitting in traffic in the morning. Otherwise it's brilliant and I have no complaints, but I have decided to sell it and purchase a used Audi for an AWD commuter instead.

Here's all the specs listed:

Year: 2004
Make: Subaru
Model: Impreza WRX STi
Color: Java Black Pearl
Mileage: 126,000
Modifications: STi titanium shift knob, Cobb Accessport, Pioneer touchscreen head unit

This WRX STi is 99% stock with the exception of the modifications mentioned above. It is flashed to stage 1 tune (stock intake/exhaust) with the Cobb AccessPort, adding approx. 25 hp and 40 lb/ft of torque (325bhp and 340lb/ft).

All major services complete; car needs nothing! Recent service over the past two years includes new clutch, timing belt, water pump, turbocharger, and 120k service (flush and replace all fluids). Continental tires have plenty of tread. Brembo brakes have decent meat left on the pads. The motor pulls hard up to redline, transmission shifts smoothly, suspension is tight, brakes work great, A/C blows cold; what more can I say?

This car has been daily driven and the mileage and condition reflects that. There's some minor wear and tear but presents well overall. I just had the car professionally detailed. Includes two sets of keys with remotes, all manuals, Cobb AccessPort and remote for the Pioneer head unit.

The car has never been used in competition nor modified beyond what is listed. Consistently averages 19-20mpg. Clean AutoCheck report. No accidents, no rust.

Asking price is $14,750 OBO.
