BRZ Nav Head Unit

Sold for the time being.

Is the nav stand alone? Or does it require a smart phone?

Does it have a subwoofer output?

Its the stock head unit given in the limited BRZ. It includes navigation, but it does not have RCA outputs. But I do know of some people who have used harnesses for sub out.

Heres a link for the unit.

Should be. A lot of pictures show that they have the same connectors on the back.

Yeah it looks the same look at picture 3 threads down:

Well I'm willing to sell. How do you want to go about doing this?

Hope this helps get it sold.

For anyone wondering if this is plug 'n' play with the FRS, the answer is "Yes, it is!" Here is a post showing how the connectors match up.

Still, this is just for the head unit and won't allow for GPS navigation, unless you also have the NAV module, which, from what I hear, can be anywhere from $600-$900. It's a little more expensive than the Entune/Brspoke systems, but it is nicer from what I hear:

"Modules:
NAV UNIT pt296-47121 $590
just enables Nav and nothing else that I'm aware of, PRIUS V module. this model has been tested and DOES work in FRS.
-or
NAV UNIT pt296-47130 $900 ***the one I ordered***
enables Nav AND ENTUNE (pandora, bing, moviefone, weather, traffic, open table, stocks, etc...) this is the newer toyota 4Runner model. this model has been tested and DOES work in FRS, just unsure about Apps, etc.
-or
NAV UNIT pt296-00140 $900?
enables Nav and BeSpoke. this is the "correct" part for our cars, but if the EnTune apps will work on our cars, I'd much rather have that over the BeSpoke crap.

so I ordered the EnTune kit which comes with the harness that connects to the head unit, the nav module and an additional "bluetooth" cable."

GLWS buddy!

The BRZ does not use any entune modules from my understanding . It looks like it's all built in. Either way everything would be included with sale.
